My books of 2006

This is what I read in 2006. I really hope this list is accurate and I didn’t forget any good book I read. Normally I enter the books I read exactly when I finish them, but last year I’ve been sort of lazy according to this list. The worst case would be my adding books after this article is published. Why I don’t believe in Windows

Windows crash “Start Windows, install Guild Wars, have a little fun.” This is what I thought tonight - but what happened? Windows crashes. Well, ok, these things happen from time to time one could say. But normally I’m no Windows user, and my system was pre-installed by Dell. Basically unused, I prefer to start Windows when I need to use Internet Explorer (which doesn’t happen that often sigh). Last time I booted it a year or so ago. All I did is leave my “My Book” connected through USB - and then tried to remove it through the unmount dialog Windows offers. Then crash… Make up your own thoughts.

Room for Milk

Today I found some interesting pages about treemaps. Normally used to graphically display size information about a large amount of data it can also be used on websites to display tags. Don’t know what I mean? Then check this one out: RoomforMilk. Nice idea, Geoff Gaudreault!
